Scaffolding Studio's founder spent years working alongside companies overseas that ran almost everything digitally, for their clients and for themselves. Back home in Jamaica, a lot of the same work was still moving on paper. Not because anyone was behind, but because nobody had a spare month to sit down and change it.
Digital work is harder to lose, harder to get wrong, and it survives a hurricane. Most owners already knew that. What they didn't have was a starting point. That's what the studio builds.
A first class honours bachelor's degree and an in-progress master's degree sit behind the work, alongside real time inside large adult-training programmes, long enough to see what wastes people's time, and trained enough to build something that doesn't.
The prices are deliberate. Most people the studio works with already have the skill and the customers. What they don't have is thousands of US dollars sitting spare, and right now in Jamaica that gap is wider than ever. So the studio is built to reach them: low prices, instalments, island rates, and no retainer holding anyone hostage afterwards. Professional work should not be a luxury item.
